Paradise

We both had a stroll along the towpath and into town, Sue wanted fresh fish for a pie for tonight's tea.

This shop had a fantastic selection of wet fish they also sold Manx kippers. Fish bought we left it in the shop's fridge while we visited the Heritage Centre and then the Paradise Silk Mill Museum.

We had a young tour guide to show us around who also used the looms to show how the machines are set up and different pattern's produced..

The loom floor looks as if the weavers had just down tools and gone for a lunch break.

Punch cards control the pattens.
