Men behaving badly.

It will take a while for us to get back to 'shake a leg' or 'get up with the larks' mode, this morning we were away from our mooring by 09:30. A couple of boats were waiting to ascend Stone locks, another pulls in behind FL, at least Sue will have help at the locks. Up through Yard lock, Canal Cruisers fleet are all out, Peter will be pleased, another boater is diy blacking in the dry dock.

After passing the old brewery warehouse we use the dumpage facility at Newcastle Road lock while we wait FL's turn to rise up in the lock.

Passing Joules warehouse

Sun was out at Meaford locks.

Soon after the Stone locks come Meaford flight of 4 locks that continue the ascent out of the valley, here the queue has grown to four in front of FL, no worries, the sun has come out and the coats have come off.

We are now four miles from where we set off from this morning, moored at Barlaston outside Neil Morrisey's boozer The Plume of Feathers... it would be rude not to!
