Gone Green.

Most of today was taken up with helping John  from Solar Afloat fit the solar panels to Festina Lente , John  splits the fitting charge 50/50 if you help with the lifting and passing tools to him that sort of thing. We had to stop work on a couple of occasions to allow a heavy shower to pass over us.

We had two 125 watt panels fitted to low level storage box's

 

The panels have the ability to be tilted into the low sun come October.

Although we are never going to be self sufficient energy wise we will however need to use the engine a lot less when not on the move.
