Peaky blinders

It was going to be a long day at the tiller so an early start at 07:00 would get us through the centre of Birmingham. A cold trip of 17 miles and just 3 locks would take us just over seven hours.

We found a space at Dudley basin for the boats, some of the more industrial areas in the scenes below were in the Peaky blinder series. The Black Country living Museum is an open air living museum that tells the story of the world's first industrial landscape.


They do a nice glass of mild in the pub
