Days Lock.

I went for a circular walk around Abingdon after making the morning cuppa for Sue & MIL. On my return, a gathering of fun runners were getting ready for the start of the 257th Abingdon Park fun run.

The sun was out for a change, just after the bridge is the boat yard, here we topped the diesel tank . It's only a 7 mile two lock trip to Days lock where we plan to stay for the rest of the weekend.

Kingcraft's wharf.
Leaving Abingdon and spire behind.

Housing is built over the filled in canal now.

Sharon & Richard heading west.

Culham lock

Clifton lock

Unusually there weren't any boats moored at Days lock so we had the pick of the moorings.

My outlaw couldn't be encouraged to join us on a stroll into Dorchester so we left her looking after FL while we went for a few supplies at the Co-op and a few free sticks of rhubarb from the allotments.

Enjoying the afternoon sun.

07:30 Sunday.

We will stay moored today I have a few jobs to do including FL's 200-hour oil and filter change.
