Windsor to Cookham

Another cold start to the day, the temperature struggled to get into the mid teens. Had a late breakfast in town with Roly & Bev, visited the fudge & cake shops and Waitrose before setting off at midday. Moored on Cookham meadow at 16:00 the heating was put on soon afterwards.

Nice Manx couple on this IOM registered replica Dutch barge.

Fairline Phantom with crazy ugly extension.

Aesthetically tasteful trailer extension.

Windsor duck.

Roux brothers restaurant in Bray

Jail bird Rolf's pad.
It was a shame to see that Skindles hotel has now been knocked down after being derelict for some years, a lot of happy evenings were spent in it's night club in the 70's. A great venue for music, the Rolling Stones and Strawbs have both played there - a housing developement of 300 homes, office space and a restaurant are being built on the site.
Development of the Skindles site has begun.
