Windsor to Medmenham

We left Windsors cloudy sky's, by the time we had serviced FL at Boveney lock it started to rain, it would rain on and off for the rest of our journey to Spade Oak.

We shared the locks with a couple out of Godalming on the river Wey, they have yet to venture onto the Basingstoke.

Bray marina.

We stopped for a short while to check out the Ferry at Cookham for Sunday lunch as our friends were to join us. We decided although very nice we would carry on to Bourne End and book a table at Spade Oak.  A good choice it was too,  we all enjoyed the food and the laughter before retiring to FL.

Not a bad side hatch view

After dinner tea on FL
Things are cooling down in the evenings, the secondry glazing has been replaced to the windows, doesn't seem that long ago we took it down. The central heating has been on for an hour some evenings.

A blustery day today on the cruise to Medmenham, at Marlow lock the keeper squeezed us in along anxious looking tupperware crews. A short stop on the park for Sue to pick up some supplies and we continued through self service locks at Temple and Hurley. We just got tied up at Westfield farm moorings when the rain started.
