Left the Isle of Man in a force 5/6 on the Manannan Seacat, luckily the wind and waves were from the east so the vessel was able to plough through the waves and swells head on which made for a relatively smooth crossing to Liverpool some 90 miles away. The captain kept the throttle pinned and we berthed 20 minutes early. Held up on the M6 for 40 minutes as a truck had decided to straddle the central reservation, now back on board Festina Lente.
MV Karina in the foreground is used as a pleasure craft during the summer months on the IOM.
